Stanley J. Kovak, M.D.
Dr. Kovak is one of only a select handful of board certified physicians who has undergone extensive training in both cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. Dr. Kovak has completed a Dermatologic Laser Surgery fellowship from the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery which is affiliated with Georgetown University Medical Center.
Dr. Kovak lectures nationally and internationally on cosmetic dermatology for the leading manufacturers of laser equipment and cosmetic products. Dr. Kovak also brings several years of phlebology expertise to the practice and has lectured extensively on varicose vein disease.
He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American College of Phlebology. He holds advanced degrees from both Loyola University and Depaul University. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Kovak is also an affiliate member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Kovak Laser Institute has been identified as a “Center for Excellence” by the manufacturers of the Intense Pulsed Light for photorejuvenation. Also, the manufacturers of Botox® have designated The Kovak Laser Institute as a training site for physicians to learn Dr. Kovak’s technique of Botox® injection. Kovak Laser Institute is one of the largest cosmetic dermatology laser centers in the Chicago area.
